Our grading system is based on the average persons fitness and biking ability:

GRADE 2 – suited to all ages and abilities. Gentle, flat terrain.

Wellington guided bicycle tours from Adventure Capital are a fun, active way to discover Wellington and learn about the heritage, creativity and culture of New Zealand’s compact capital city.

This privately guided bike tour follows safe, off-road cyclepaths along the coastline, featuring iconic architecture, public art, golden sand beaches, rocky foreshores and reclaimed wetlands.

Wellington can be a windy city, so we strongly recommend all participants bring appropriate clothing to participate in this tour and come with a reasonable level of fitness. Participants must be able to ride a bicycle confidently and unassisted. This tour is not recommended for young children or those with mobility issues.

Tour Duration: 3 hrs

Departure Time: 9.30am

End Time: 12.30pm

Departure Point: our base located on the Ground Floor, West Wing, Wellington Railway Station, Wellington City.

Solo travellers are welcome to book this tour, but need to pay the minimum price for 2 people. Enquire about group bookings.

Please be aware that Wellington can be a windy city, and you will need to wear clothing to suit (i.e.: bring a long sleeved waterproof jacket, warm top and gloves just in case!). Closed toed shoes are also recommended; open toed sandals and beach footwear are not suitable for this tour.
